A Haitian Music Series: Jean Chardavoine
Haitian and World Music Series is a collaboration between Arts Garage and the Haitian America Chamber of Commerce
Haitian born but Brooklyn bred, an amazingly talented artist thus, enabling Chardavoine to be a refined professional. He’s well known around New York for his association with the late Grammy Award winner Flutist “Dave Valentin” last year he had the privilege of playing at Aretha Franklin’s birthday bash in New York with the Tito Puente Jr orchestra.
His sophomore effort entitled “The Tribute” is dedicated to the Haitian earthquake victims and a trip back to his roots musically.
